Gulf NJROTC competed at Mitchell High School on Saturday amongst other NJROTC units from the state in military drill, athletics, and academics. The cadets’ performance was phenomenal during the competition, leading them to taking 2nd place in military drill and 2nd place in athletics, for an overall of 2nd place in the competition. Several cadets were individual medal placers as well, such as in push-ups, sit-ups and individual drill. Gulf qualified for the NJROTC Area 7 State Championship that will be held in March 2015.
