Robert Strasser will become our new assistant principal at Gulf High School, pending school board approval. He will replace Dr. Judy Gallagher, who is retiring at the end of December.
Mr. Strasser is currently a math teacher at Gulf Middle School, where he is in his tenth year.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from USF, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from USF.
Mr. Strasser was born in Glen Cove, New York. He came to New Port Richey in 1988 and attended Calusa Elementary School, Bayonet Point Middle School, and Ridgewood High School, from which he graduated in 1998.
His wife Jen is a guidance counselor. They have twin boys who are 16 months old. Rob says he is a “huge Rays and Bucs fan.”
