Comments by Mr. Rutherford: He is such a talented young man with the intelligence to back it up! I am so fortunate to have Shane as a member of our band program as he inspires many of our students through his ability and leadership to raise their standards of performance. He is a gem and I really hate to see him graduate this year! But I do look forward to what he is going to accomplish in his future as it obviously looks very bright for him! We are very proud that Shane is a Buccaneer!
Another news tidbit about Shane: he was recently selected for the Pasco All-County Band which makes the 7th time he has done so. This means that he has been in the All-County Band every year he has been in band since he started in 6th grade! Not too many band students accomplish this feat!
