Our football program has had some trying years in the past, too, as this headline from a November 1988 GHS newspaper shows. This same headline could have been written again in 2006, except that then it would say “in 13 years.” We had winless seasons back-to-back in 1977-78 and 1978-79. However, we think the current streak is soon to end!
