Many iPhone users are choosing the Google map but those who choose the Apple map will find we’re still listed as Gulf Comprehensive High School. The “Comprehensive” was part of our name in the 1970s and 1980s, but was officially dropped in 1989. Mr. Miller has submitted a correction to Apple, and we’ll report an update as soon as we notice it.
In the past Google maps actually had an even older name for our location – Gulf Junior High School – but Mr. Miller sent in a correction for that some time ago. He does not charge for these good deeds!
