Cathy Watters, an ESE teacher at Gulf, will retire on Feb. 18. Ms. Watters started at Gulf in August 1990. Before coming to Gulf she taught at Hudson Middle School for eight years. She says she plans to care for her mother and her 8-year-old granddaughter, who lives with her. Cathy Preston was born in Detroit and attended Ferndale High School in Ferndale, Michigan, and is a USF graduate. She has two adult sons.
