James E. “Ed” Campbell, who was Principal of Gulf High School from 1975 to 1978 and was also a teacher and coach, was found dead on March 24. The death is being investigated as a homicide. Although I only knew Principal Campbell for 4 years, he was a true pleasure to be around and welcomed me to GHS during my first year with open arms.
