Belinda Delaney returns to Gulf tomorrow (March 12), replacing Mr. DeWitt, who retired recently. Ms. Delaney originally joined the Gulf faculty in August 2010, teaching social studies and coaching volleyball. She reluctantly transferred to Fivay High School at the beginning of this school year, but is now able to return to GHS. She will teach three social studies classes and two phys ed classes. Dr. Knobl informed the faculty of her return in an earlier email, writing, “We are very excited that she is rejoining our team.” Belinda Hatch graduated from Gulf High School in 2002. She lettered in varsity volleyball all four years and earned a volleyball scholarship to St. John’s River Community College. She lived in Okinawa for two years while attending the University of Maryland University College. She graduated Dec. 2009 with a B.A. in History.
