You’ve probably seen the huge assortment of trophies in the display case in the commons area of GHS. The trophies displayed were all earned by the Gulf Navy JROTC unit at 3 military drill competitions and 2 athletic competitions during the 2011-12 school year. This is the best the unit has performed in the past 10 years. With USF coming up this Saturday (Feb 11th), they’re certain to add to the trophy count for the year. Additionally, the unit has qualified to compete at the State Drill Championships to be held at Oviedo High School on March 3rd, 2012. GREAT JOB CADETS!
