Stadium lighted sign damaged

High winds after school yesterday (2/23) damaged the lighted sign on the back of the pressbox, as you can see from the top photo. The second and third photos were taken in 2006, when the sign had to be repaired after being damaged by Hurricane Jeanne in 2004.

NJROTC at the Lightning game

The GHS NJROTC Color Guard presented our nation’s colors at the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game tonight (2/23). The Lightning hosted the Calgary Flames. The cadets got to stay to watch the game afterward. Way to go BUCS!

3D Printing in the Math Classes at GHS

Mr. Fakitsas’ and Mr. Murch’s classes visited the media center to explore 3D Printing. Mrs. Sorenson, Learning Design Coach, presented the importance of 3D printing in math and in the work force. Special guest, Mrs. Davis, utilized the 3D pens with students.
