Three Gulf seniors have made the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-State girls soccer team. They were honored this afternoon. They are, left to right: Melissa Morlan, goalkeeper; Dani Schulman, center back; and Chelsea Foster, forward. Melissa has been playing soccer for 10 years, Dani since she was 6 years old, and Chelsea for seven years. Chelsea is a homeschooled student. The selection of three players is remarkable because Coach Shari Schau, who is also in the picture, says that in the 13 years she has been at Gulf, only one other girl (Alyssa Goodwin) has made the FACA team.
