New girls basketball coach

Clare Ennis has been promoted from assistant to head basketball coach of our girls basketball team, replacing Mike Quarto who has resigned his coaching position. Clare is from Saratoga Springs, New York, where she was born, raised and played basketball through high school.  She is a graduate of SUNY Potsdam, where she was a four-year starter and a two-year captain.  Clare continued her involvement in basketball near the Canadian border for the following year as an assistant coach for Clarkson University.  Upon completion of the season, she moved back to Saratoga Springs and joined the coaching staff at Skidmore College.  After completing a season with the Thoroughbreds, she moved to Pasco County,  and worked as an assistant girls basketball coach at Gulf High School.
