The Gulf High School senior team at the Odyssey of the Mind state competition in Orlando won the Weird Science competition in their division and will be among the Florida schools advancing to the world competition at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, on May 23-26. They are (left to right): John Wang-Hu, Shenil Kaithathara, Jeremy Ong, Lizzy Mapes, Oliver Chang, and Naser Shareef. The coach of the team is Gulf alum Zakir Shareef (not pictured).
