UPDATE (1/27/2017): Sharaya is the Pasco County School District’s SRP of the Year!

UPDATE (12/21/2016): Sharaya is one of the three finalists for district SRP of the Year! The other two finalists are Loretta Hagerman of Richey Elementary School and Heather Pratz of Achieve Center of Pasco.


Sharaya Janes has been selected the Gulf High School SRP of the Year.

Ms. Janes is the Resource Management Associate for Gulf High School. She is in her fifth year as an employee here, having earlier been a transition assistant for the ESE department and the attendance secretary/front office secretary. She also worked in the cafeteria.

She is a 2012 graduate of Gulf High School. She was hired in the summer after she graduated.

Ms. Janes is the junior class sponsor and a co-sponsor of the SADD club.

Many of her family members have worked at Gulf High School. Her mother, Denise Janes, was the registrar. Her grandfather and grandmother, Bill and Janet Bready were employed at Gulf, and Lucy DeCubellis, who was the principal’s secretary for many years, is Sharaya’s great aunt.
