Mike Pacanowski, who teaches Geometry and Algebra I, will be leaving Gulf High School.
He says that because of family obligations he needs to move back to the Pennsylvania-New York area where he is from.
Mr. Pacanowski joined the Gulf faculty at the start of the 2015-16 school year. He previously had taught at Swenson High School in Philadelphia and Broughal Middle School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
He will be leaving in about three weeks. He said that Gulf High School is “the best place I’ve worked at so far.”
