The GHS NJROTC unit held a 4 day summer camp for incoming NJROTC freshmen on July 25-28. The new cadets learned basic drill, chain of command, uniform preparation and proper wear of the uniform. They also participated in physical training activities. They got a head start on the school year and will be better prepared than other incoming NJROTC freshmen once school starts. Well done to the cadets who are taking time out of their summer vacation to prepare themselves for their first year in high school. Pictures are on our Facebook page and in this album on Flickr.
