The Gulf High School Math Olympics was held in the gym on Thursday and Friday (4/21, 4/22).

Each Algebra I student spent all day in the gym on one of the two days, participating in eight 25-minute lessons by each Gulf math teacher. Each teacher prepared an engaging lesson on a topic that is part of the Algebra I curriculum. Students had fun and a chance to meet all of the Gulf math teachers.

The goal of the event is to boost scores on the Algebra I end-of-course exam, which in most cases is a requirement for graduation.

Some pictures from day 2 of the event are here. A short video produced by the school district is here.
