Jena B. Ferry has been selected as the Gulf High School Teacher of the Year.
The announcement was made by Ms. Davis this morning.
Mrs. Ferry (known to some former students as Ms. Bigley) joined the Gulf faculty at the start of the 2005-06 school year.
This year she is teaching Advanced Placement Human Geography and Advanced Placement World History.
Mrs. Ferry is a graduate of LaSalle University in Philadelphia.
She was born in Erial, New Jersey, and graduated from Paul VI Catholic High School. She is married to Jeff Ferry, who is a stay-at-home dad.
