Ray Rebensky, who began teaching at Gulf in January 1978, will retire at the end of the school year.
Mr. Rebensky’s entire teaching career has been at Gulf except for one earlier year in Miami.
He has taught mostly English. He taught Journalism for several years, at which time he was the sponsor for the yearbook and the school newspaper.
Mr. Rebensky was born in Syracuse, N. Y. He graduated from Bishop Grimes High School in East Syracuse, and has a B. S. degree in secondary education and English from State University of New York at Geneseo.
He says he plans to travel during his retirement.
