Gulf took first place out 16 schools! According to Ms. McFarlane, our Athletic Director, this is the first time for our boys weightlifting team. She reports that we had two individuals qualify for the state tournament in 2 weeks: Arron Tate and Kaine Davis. Mike Giles may also be invited to the tournament. He came in 2nd in his weight class and it will depend on totals from another district as to whether or not he qualifies.
