If you wondered what that lighted object flying around in the gym on Friday was, it was a drone recording video. More precisely, it was a Hubsan H107L X4 Mini RTF RC Quadcopter owned by sophomore Andre Belloise, who got special permission from the principal to fly the object during the pep rally.
Andre is a son of Chris Belloise, who owns a much more expensive drone with many additional features which he uses in his work as a real estate agent. Mr. Belloise flew his drone over Des Little Stadium during the pre-season football game, and some video can be seen here. Andre’s older brother Chance is on the Gulf football team.
