Mother Nature took a night off and the Buccaneers took advantage tonight (2/18). In only their third game of the 2014 campaign the Bucs travelled to Anclote to face the young Sharks and with precise execution chased the home team 10-0. Brittney Pressler took the mound for the first time this season and held the Sharks to 2 hits over 5 innings while striking out 7. Offensively the freshmen, Alicia Boloyan and Amanda Crisafulli lead the team with 2 for 3 nights. Alicia scored twice, while Amanda drove in a pair. Hanna McCarthy got on the board this season with a pair of singles. Her sister Haley drove in a pair of runs, giving her 2 multi RBI games in the first month. A solid victory that keeps the ladies undefeated in both conference and district play. Up next, the Hudson Cobras at Hudson on Wednesday 2/19 following the JV game at 5:pm.
