Two administrators from Melbourne High School in Brevard County spent the day at Gulf High School today, learning how Gulf’s pre-IB program is operating. They are Jim Willcoxon, the Principal of MHS, and Michele Canose, the school’s IB coordinator. Also in the picture are Gulf’s Principal, Thomas E. Imerson, and Assistant Principal Dr. Deborah Lepley, who coordinates Gulf’s pre-IB program. The Melbourne guests also met with Gulf’s pre-IB teachers and guidance personnel. Both schools are expected to have International Baccalaureate diploma programs soon, but Gulf High School is farther along in the application process, having started earlier.
