Randy Bishop will become our new Plant Manager on Monday. He succeeds Dave Van Mensel, who is transferring to the new Fivay High School, which opens in August.
Mr. Bishop has been at River Ridge for six years and has served as Acting Plant Manager there for the last two months. He was born and grew up in Key West. He worked in maintenance for the Monroe County school system for 18 years before coming to Pasco County six years ago. His wife is named Darlene. They have two grown children, ages 30 and 27.
